McLaren expects to be faster at Sepang
McLaren has warned its rivals that it could be even stronger in the Malaysian Grand Prix because its car excels on the type of high speed corners that are a feature of Sepang. Although Jenson Button was in a class of his own in Melbourne, his team boss Martin Whitmarsh suggests that the Albert Park circuit did not actually play to the strengths of the new McLaren. "If you looked closely at ourselves in testing at Barcelona, we were pretty good in the high speed corners," Whitmarsh explained.

Loeb against endurance rallies
Sebastien Loeb has admitted the shift towards longer events in the World Rally Championship could hasten his decision to retire from the sport. The eight-time world champion has a contract with Citroen until the end of next season, but the Frenchman has a clause in the deal which would allow him to walk away at the end of 2012. Spies: 1000cc will suit me better
Ben Spies believes the change to 1000cc bikes in MotoGP this year will help him be "better in every way" than he was in 2011. Teased: Latest 2013 Nissan Altima teaser shows strong profile [w/video]

The slow drip of official information for Nissan's 2013 Altima continues to spread across the internet. Today, the Japanese automaker has unveiled a (very) short video clip and a shady single image that hints at the expressive profile sheetmetal on its new family sedan. The video is very brief, but together with the other images we've seen depicting the new boomerang-shaped taillamps, headlamps and overhead view, we're starting to mentally stitch together a composite view of the new car.
We couldn't resist helping Nissan accelerate its reveal process by tinkering with Photoshop's brightness and contrast controls a bit. You can see the result in our gallery which reveals a nicely rounded three-window greenhouse and a set of split five-spoke alloys. In addition, check out the short video after the jump while you're waiting for live shots and impressions to drop from New York.

Shirley Wins at Bristol
Week Seven of 2012 Season 1 saw the NASCAR iRacing.com Class B Series travel to the most popular short track in the country, Bristol Motor Speedway. The high banks of Bristol create exciting online racing with flaring tempers to boot. In all, 565 drivers ran at least one race at the short half mile while 181 drivers attempted at least one qualifying run. The high Strength of Field race took place at 8:30 pm EST on Thursday night, an hour earlier than usual do to the recent time change. The race rated a 3293 SoF and paid championship 209 points to win. Andrew Shirley (Mid-South) would come away with the victory after a late race pass on Christopher Arndt (Carolina).
